Fairfax Radiology, also known as Fairfax Radiological Consultants and FRC, provides breast imaging services at eight facilities (imaging centers) including screening mammograms, comprehensive mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, breast MRI, breast ultrasound (sonogram), ultrasound guided breast biopsy, stereotactic biopsy, cyst aspiration, and bone density (DEXA) scans. With special attention to safe, highest quality digital mammography that assures the lowest possible radiation dose, we strive to consistently offer the newest and most innovative technologies that will result in the highest quality diagnostic images with greatest reduction in radiation exposure. Our mammography facilities are accredited by the American College of Radiology and are one of the first in the Washington DC metropolitan area to be recognized by the ACR as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. Our board certified radiologists are experts in their field, dedicated to providing quality, safety, efficiency and privacy.
